Hola guys!
I hope you had a wonderful Easter break. We are one quarter through the year already and I am grateful that the weather is finally cooling down in sunny Queensland. I've had my fair share of new products since the beginning of the year but decided to keep it simple and stick to a few items for March favourites. 2018 is the year of skincare for me as I strive to improve my complexion and rely less on foundation.

1. The Ordinary Buffet - Raved about by the online beauty community, I decided to try out Buffet after watching Liah's brand review video. It's a water based serum that I apply after cleansing and a toner. I noticed a difference in my skin after about two weeks of using it every morning and night. My complexion is smoother, less red and less prone to acne. Love this serum and hope to try out

Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and the Rose Hip Seed Oil.

2. Hello Glow by Stephanie Gerber - I've become intrigued in DIY beauty after seeing some titles in bookshops and natural ingredients being sold at Biome. Hello Glow is beautifully illustrated and contains over 100 recipes for hair, body and face as well detailed information about the benefits of natural ingredients. I'm super inspired to get crafty with DIY beauty and make some lush-like products at home.

3. Canmake Cream Cheek Blush # 05 Sweet Apricot - This cute-as-a-button blush is one of my favourite makeup items this year. The creamy formula is easy to blend and leaves a beautifully natural flush that lasts the whole day. It's compact and saves me packing a blush brush when I need to travel. Love love this blush <3

4. Daiso foaming net - This is a less common beauty tool that looks like a loofah and can be stretched with a draw string to wring out fluffy cleansing foam. It's much more efficient at lathering up foam cleansers than using bare hands. I like that it makes cleansing more gentle and it's quite fun to use. :p
