w7 In the Nude Palette - Naked 3 dupe

Greetings to you :)

A few weeks ago, Urban Decay was finally released in Mecca Maxima stores around Australia and the palette that kept appearing in front of me was the Naked 3. Now, at first glance I would think it would be my most preferred out of the three available Naked palettes but when I saw it in store, 'Trick' was the shade that I instantly fell in love with. I don't feel that the shades in this palette would compliment my eyes as well as browns and coppers which I usually wear so I settled for this $10 W7 Naked 3 dupe from Chemist Warehouse for the sake of their version of 'Trick'.

This is the first w7 product I've purchased - I was always slightly turned off because it's a cheap brand and my expectations for quality were low but this the palette surprised me. It comes in a tin case and unlike the original UDN3 palette, there isn't a mirror and one end of the brush is a sponge applicator.

From left to right: Latte, Angel, Venice, Marilyn, Copper Pot and Sun Kissed ('Trick' dupe)

Alice, Bad Manners, Coffee Cup, Mud Slide, Tokyo and Fashionista

Swatches without primer

Overall, the shades are preeeeetty similar to Naked 3, and I was pretty satisfied with the shadows- especially with 'Sun Kissed'. I found that the shadows had little fallout and were smoother than my Chi Chi palettes which have that 'hardness' to them requiring a bit more rubbing to get a good payoff. I'm glad I decided to purchase this palette instead of splurging $78 at Mecca when I only really like one shade.
